Good Samaritan (GS) is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to enhancing local communities. Our primary focus areas include family stability, educational support, feeding the homeless and those in need, and affordable transitional housing. We strive to transform lives and foster sustainable growth for stronger, more resilient communities.

Good Samaritan (GS) was established in 2000. The organization began its operations in 2003 when it acquired a small home in Washington Park, which served as its initial headquarters. In 2006, GS further expanded its reach and influence by constructing a new ministry center. Over the years, Good Samaritan has had a profoundly positive impact on the lives of individuals.

AFTER-SCHOOL PROGRAM TUTORS

Empower youth from pre-k through 8th grade by inspiring them with their homework, engaging in fun games, and creating memorable experiences together.

MENTORSHIP

ITEMS NEEDED

  • Baby Essentials: Items that cater to our littlest ones.
  • Clothing: New or gently used garments for all ages and every season, ensuring warmth and comfort for all.
  • Footwear: New or gently used shoes of all sizes for women, children, and men.
  • Culinary Staples: Essential cooking ingredients, including seasonings, cooking oils, flour, and sugar.
  • Disposables: Paper products such as plates, plastic utensils, and to-go containers.
  • Laundry Supplies: Items such as detergent, bleach, and fabric softener
  • Cleaning Supplies.
